STORIES OF AMAZING RECOVERIES

I was impacted on my side of the car as the driver. While turning on a green arrow a car sped thru the intersection. I only know what I have been told and by reading police reports and injury reports. I was knocked unconscious and was unresponsive at the scene, so I was intubated at the scene.

I was tranported by Bayflite to Bayfront medical center. On arrival there I had subarachnoid hemmorage in the cortical sulci of the left parietal region. There were also small petechial hemorrhages in both of my frontal lobes. They had to put a chest tube in for a pneumothorax. There were many other injuries too, but I wanted to write primarily about the TBI I received.

After I came out of my coma, I went to Healthsouth for rehab where I re-learned how to walk, talk, basically function as a human being again. Here I am though. The Lord has used my life as a testimony of His power to share with others.
