STORIES OF AMAZING RECOVERIES

Submitted By: Annette Hollis
Telephone: 802 897 2594

My name is Annette and I had a severe car accident not even a half mile from my home. I had a traumatic brain injury with a broken neck and broken ribs. I do not remember anything from the accident. I was in ICU for a few weeks I made a amazing recovery from my accident within 6 weeks I was discharged and home recovering very well. I was blessed that I had been spared by not having a brain problem. I am currently recovering and wanting to return to my work. I do my outpatient Therapy twice a week and I can see everytime the improvements I have made. I wish that more people could be educated in this area. We are all different and we all heal different. I am worried that some people have labeled me as being disabled with a brain injury. I am fine I am a little tired and not 100% better but I would never want anyone to count me out.
