STORIES OF AMAZING RECOVERIES

My name is Lee, and on January 10, 2004 I laid my motorcycle down and suffered a traumatic brain injury. I had to have a craneotomy on my right side, contracted bacterial meningitis, then I suffered a stroke, and got blood clots on my left leg and arm. I was in the hospital for 175 days!

I went to Craig hospital for my rehabilitation. They were the best! Because I was laid up for so long, it was a long road to recovery.

The stroke robbed me of my eyesight. I have field cuts in both eyes. And left side inattention. They say that I will never drive again, and possibly never work. I'm willing to share my email with families that are going through this. I think I have a lot to share.

Thank you!
Lee Alvin
